Support for Criminal Justice matters
Many clients find themselves with criminal
charges stemming from their substance abuse. We offer independent
clinical assessments, court reports and referrals for clients
and families. We have counsellors and treatment providers that
do onsite jail assessments on a weekly basis. We also accept collect
calls for assessments and referrals from clients while awaiting
bail, while in custody, during presentence or for early paroles.
Employee Assistance Programs
Substance abuse is still the leading cause
of poor productivity, absenteeism and poor employee moral. At
New Life we have specific workshops designed to educate and support
an abstinence free workspace. Everyone has the right to be as
safe as possible while on the job!
Presentations/Seminars
New Life also develops and delivers programs
for schools, community groups and the business community. The
context of these can include the areas of health promotion, prevention,
early intervention techniques and community resources. We also
have numerous other seminars on a wide variety of health and wellness

We have a number of clients who visit Toronto
for pleasure and business and appreciate the confidential support
offered by our agency. Whether it is a simple telephone call for
support or on-site counselling sessions for those on business our
counselling staff can be available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
Clients from diverse backgrounds as entertainment, technology
and commerce have all appreciated how easy it is to access our
service and the care and support our staff provide. We offer an
array of support from telephone contact, individual sessions at
our premise or at your site, case management and introductions
to various Toronto based community resources and supports.
